PARTY RENTAL AGREEMENT & LIABILITY WAIVER

Rental Company: Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. (5209 E 300 N, Crawfordsville, IN 47933)

1. INSPECTION, VISUAL DOCUMENTATION & "AS-IS" CONDITION

By signing this Agreement, both the Renter and the Rental Company acknowledge that all rented items have been thoroughly inspected together prior to pickup or delivery and are confirmed to be in good condition, functioning properly, and free of stains, tears, or other damage. The Renter accepts the equipment "AS-IS" and assumes full responsibility for maintaining that condition throughout the rental period. Any damage, stains, or defects found upon return that were not documented in the pickup/delivery are the Renter’s financial responsibility.

A walk-through inspection of the rented items will take place at the time of return or pickup by Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. and the Renter. Renter agrees to return all rental items in the same condition they were in prior to use.

The security deposit will be waived by the Renter if there is damage or excessive cleaning that must be addressed by the Rental Company. Excessive cleaning includes anything requiring more than a sanitary wipe-down of the rental items.

2. MANDATORY SAFETY RULES & ACKNOWLEDGMENT

The Renter agrees to always be personally present and will directly supervise the use of all rented equipment, especially in the event of renting inflatables, concession machines, dunk tanks, event tents, etc.

• Supervision Ratio: It is required that no less than one (1) responsible adult (18+) be present and supervising any and all inflatables, dunk tanks, and games while in use by anyone under the age of 18.

• No Sharp Objects: No shoes, glasses, jewelry, or sharp objects are allowed on or near the equipment. No objects are to be inside/on the inflatable besides people using the equipment.

• No Contaminants: Absolutely NO Silly String, face paint, gum, food, drinks, or confetti.

• No Misuse: With inflatables, games, dunk tank, and tents, NO climbing on walls, hanging from netting, or somersaults/flips. All equipment MUST be used according to its intended use.

• Instructions for use of equipment: There will be complete verbal instructions with setup of equipment and written instructions/checklist. Concessions, speakers, and games come with written instructions. Inflatables will include 24x36 requirements sign, which must remain facing forward at the entrance of the equipment and be read by all participants and adults responsible for each person under 18 years of age. This sign must not be moved or blocked at any time. Tents, inflatables, dunk tanks, and movie theater equipment instructions will be verbal and renter will be walked through the process at the time of delivery. 

• Equipment Placement: Inflatables, dunk tank and tents should delivered and set up by Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. are not to be moved to any other location. All straps, weights, and other barriers are not to be detached from the rented unit.

• Setup and Tear Down: Inflatables, event tents, and dunk tanks must be delivered, set up, and torn down by Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. Do not attempt to clean up or tear down these rental items. Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. will properly tear down the equipment at the designated end of the rental time.

Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. does not set up tables, chairs, or other rental items outside of inflatables, dunk tank, and tents. Please ensure that all rental items are cleaned and torn down prior to our return for pick up.

3. WEATHER AND FORCE MAJEURE

The Renter must monitor weather conditions. Do not use inflatables when wind speeds exceed 15 MPH or if there is lightning or heavy rain. Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. will verbally instruct the Renter on the day of the reservation to ensure proper handling of the equipment in the event of unexpected inclement weather.

If inclement weather is forecasted 24 hours prior to the event, it is Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC.'s discretion to cancel. Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. will accommodate a rescheduled event date according to the availability of the rented items.

Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. will refund all payments made in the event of cancellation by the Rental Company.

4. SPECIAL DAMAGE ADDENDUM: SILLY STRING, FACE PAINT & GLITTER — INFLATABLES

AND TENTS ONLY - This section applies only to rentals that include an inflatable or tent. Silly String, face paint, and "glitter" can cause permanent chemical reactions, staining, and damage to inflatable and tent materials.

The Fine: If Silly String, face paint, glitter, or other prohibited residue is found on an inflatable or tent, a minimum $500 cleaning fee applies. This fee will be charged to the Renter's original payment method. By signing this Agreement, the Renter agrees to this charge. Residue is considered excessive mud, food, paint, or shoe scuffs that require deep cleaning.

Replacement: Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. will do all in its power to clean or repair rental damages. If damage caused by misuse, Silly String, face paint, glitter, or other prohibited substances is permanent and the item cannot be reasonably repaired, the Renter is liable for the full replacement cost (MSRP) of the unit.

5. DAMAGE, LOSS, AND THEFT

The Renter is responsible for the equipment from the moment of pickup/delivery until it is returned/picked up by the Rental Company. The Renter agrees to pay for all repairs, loss, or theft occurring during this period, excluding normal wear and tear.

The Renter is financially responsible for any damage to rental equipment caused by the Renter, the Renter's guests, participants, or other persons using the equipment during the rental period. This includes damage resulting from misuse, improper use, negligence, or failure to follow the rules and instructions provided by Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC.

Damage caused by an act of nature is excluded from the Renter's responsibility.

Time-stamped digital pictures will be taken when damage or defects are present upon return and will be available to the Renter as documentation of the condition of the equipment.

The Renter authorizes Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. to charge the credit card or other payment method on file for applicable repair or replacement costs resulting from damage for which the Renter is responsible under this Agreement.

6. PICKUP, RETURN, AND SECURITY DEPOSITS

Pickup or Delivery Window: Renters must choose a pick up and delivery time. Renter pick up times must be within 15 minutes prior or after designated time set when reservation is completed to ensure, unless Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. permits after discussions with renter. Delivery times will be estimated as there may be several deliveries on the day of reservation. Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. will coordinate schedule with requested time in mind. Estimated delivery time frame will be sent via email 3-5 days prior to the event.

Late Returns: Failure to return items within 30 minutes of scheduled return will result in loss of security deposit.

Security Deposit: Deposits are returned after the Rental Company inspects items for defects, damage, or excessive soilage.

7. CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC.

• Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled event date will receive a refund of payments made minus the security deposit.

• Cancellations made 15 - 29 days before the event will receive a 50% refund of the total rental amount. There can be a 1 time date reschedule date, subject to rental item availability for the date requested to avoid loss of payment. Requests must be sent to Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. via email. The rescheduled date is not reserved until Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. has sent written response to the request email.

• Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event are non-refundable. There can be a 1 time date reschedule subject to rental item availability for the date requested to prevent payment loss. Requests must be sent to Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. via email. The rescheduled date is not reserved until Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. has sent written response to the request email.

The security deposit is not refundable if there is a cancelation and reserves the equipment for the Renter’s event date.

If Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC must cancel due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, equipment failure, or catastrophic/emergent circumstances beyond our control, the Renter will receive the option of:

1. Rescheduling to another available date, or

2. Receiving a full refund of all payments made.
