Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. Rental Agreement

Lessor: Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. (5209 E 300 N, Crawfordsville, IN 47933) Renter: ______________________________________________________________

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK The Renter acknowledges that the use of inflatable equipment and rental items involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, physical exertion, slips, falls, collisions, and equipment failure. These risks may result in serious injury, including permanent paralysis or death. By signing this agreement, the Renter explicitly acknowledges these risks and voluntarily assumes all responsibility for any injury or damage occurring during the rental period.

2. INDEMNIFICATION AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY The Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Salty Sweet Rentals LLC., its owners, and employees from any and all claims, lawsuits, damages, or costs (including attorney fees) arising from the use, operation, or presence of the equipment. This release applies regardless of whether the injury or damage is caused by the negligence of the Renter, participants, or the Equipment Provider.

3. INSPECTION, VISUAL DOCUMENTATION & "AS-IS" CONDITION By signing this Agreement, both the Renter and the Lessor acknowledge that all rented items have been thoroughly inspected together prior to pickup and are confirmed to be in good condition, functioning properly, and free of stains, tears, or other damages.  The Renter accepts the equipment "AS-IS" and assumes full responsibility for maintaining that condition. Any damage, stains, or defects found upon return that were not documented in the pickup photos are the Renter’s financial responsibility.

Inspection Checklist: A detailed Equipment Inspection & Condition Report is attached to the back of this contract. The Renter is required to initial each item at pickup to formally confirm the items were received without damage or defects.

4. MANDATORY SAFETY RULES & ACKNOWLEDGMENT The Renter agrees to be personally present at all times and will directly supervise the use of all rented equipment. For the safety of participants, the Renter agrees to strictly enforce the following rules:

• Supervision Ratio: There must be at least two (2) responsible adults (18+) manning and supervising any and all inflatables and games while in use by anyone under the age of 18 years.
• No Sharp Objects: No shoes, glasses, jewelry, or sharp objects allowed on or near the equipment.
• No Contaminants: Absolutely NO Silly String, face paint, gum, food, drinks, or confetti.
• No Misuse: No climbing on walls, hanging from nettings, or somersaults/flips. All equipment MUST be used according to its original use.
• Capacity: Users must be sorted by compatible age and size to prevent collisions.

5. WEATHER AND FORCE MAJEURE The Renter must monitor weather conditions. The unit must be evacuated and deflated immediately if wind speeds exceed 20 MPH or if there is lightning/heavy rain.

6. SPECIAL DAMAGE ADDENDUM: SILLY STRING & FACE PAINT Silly String, face paint, and "glitter" cause permanent chemical reactions and staining.

• The Fine: If residue is found, a minimum $500 cleaning fee applies. This fee will be charged to the renter's original payment.
• Replacement: If damage is permanent, the Renter is liable for the full replacement cost(MSRP) of the unit.

7. DAMAGE, LOSS, AND THEFT The Renter is responsible for the equipment from the moment of pickup/delivery until it is returned/picked up by the Lessor. The Renter agrees to pay for all repairs, loss, or theft occurring during this window, excluding normal wear and tear.

8. PICKUP, RETURN, AND SECURITY DEPOSITS

• Pickup Window: To accommodate our customers, pickup may occur 5:00 PM or later requested at the time of reservation the day prior to, OR between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM the scheduled rental date.
• Return Options: To accommodate the Renter's schedule, items may be returned by 9:00 PM on the day of the rental. Otherwise, all items must be returned no later than the final deadline of 10:00 AM the morning following the rented/paid date.
• Late Returns: Failure to return items by the 10:00 AM deadline will result in an automatic charge of an additional full-day rental fee to the Renter’s payment method on file.
• Security Deposit: Deposits are returned after the Lessor inspects items for defects, damage, or excessive soilage.
• MSRP Replacement: If an item is returned defective, broken, or damaged, the Renter is required to pay the full MSRP (Retail Price) of the item. Time stamped digital pictures, if defect or damage is present with return, will be available to customer as proof of said damage.
