PARTY RENTAL AGREEMENT & LIABILITY WAIVER

Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. Rental Agreement

Lessor: Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. (5209 E 300 N, Crawfordsville, IN 47933) Renter: ______________________________________________________________

1. INSPECTION, VISUAL DOCUMENTATION & "AS-IS" CONDITION By signing this Agreement, both the Renter and the Lessor acknowledge that all rented items have been thoroughly inspected together prior to pickup or delivery and are confirmed to be in good condition, functioning properly, and free of stains, tears, or other damages. The Renter accepts the equipment "AS-IS" and assumes full responsibility for maintaining that condition. Any damage, stains, or defects found upon return that were not documented in the pickup photos are the Renter’s financial responsibility.

A walk-through inspection of rented items will take place at the time of return or pick up by Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. and renter. The security deposit will be waived by the renter if there is damage or excessive cleaning is needed to be down by the lessor. Excessive cleaning includes anything that requires more than sanitary wipe down of items. Renter agrees to ensuring rental items are in the condition they were prior to use.

2. MANDATORY SAFETY RULES & ACKNOWLEDGMENT The Renter agrees to always be personally present and will directly supervise the use of all rented equipment, especially in the event of renting inflatables, concession machines, dunk tank, event tents, etc. For the safety of participants, the Renter agrees to strictly enforce the following rules:

  • Supervision Ratio: It is required for no less than one (1) responsible adult (18+) manning and supervising any and all inflatables, dunk tank, and games while in use by anyone under the age of 18 years.
  • No Sharp Objects: No shoes, glasses, jewelry, or sharp objects allowed on or near the equipment. No objects are to be inside/on the inflatable besides people using the equipment.
  • No Contaminants: Absolutely NO Silly String, face paint, gum, food, drinks, or confetti.
  • No Misuse: No climbing on walls, hanging from nettings, or somersaults/flips. All equipment MUST be used according to its original use.
  • Capacity: To use any inflatables, users must be sorted by compatible age and size to prevent collisions or any other physical incidents that could cause bodily harm. There will be complete verbal instructions with set-up of equipment and safety check list, along with a large 24x36 requirements sign which must remain facing forward at the entrance of the equipment and read by all participants and adults responsible for each person under 18 years. This sign must not be moved or blocked at any time.
  • All rented items delivered and set up by Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. are not to be moved to any other location. All straps, weights, and other barriers are not to be detached from the rented unit. This is for the safety of all in attendance.
  • Inflatables, event tents, dunk tank, and must be delivered, set up, and torn down by Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. Do not attempt to clean up/tear down these rental items to prevent any injury that could occur. Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. will properly tear down at the designated end of rental time.

3. WEATHER AND FORCE MAJEURE The Renter must monitor weather conditions. Any inflatable units must be evacuated and deflated immediately if wind speeds exceed 15 MPH or if there is lightning/heavy rain. Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. will verbally instruct renter on the day of the reservation to ensure proper handling of the equipment in case of unexpected inclement weather. There will be written instructions left for the renter once set up is completed. If inclement weather is forecasted 24 hours prior to the event, it is Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. discretion to cancel for safety reasons. Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. will accommodate a rescheduled event date according to availability of rented items. Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. will refund all payments made in the event of cancellation by lessor.

4. SPECIAL DAMAGE ADDENDUM: SILLY STRING & FACE PAINT Silly String, face paint, and "glitter" cause permanent chemical reactions and staining products, especially inflatables.

  • The Fine: If residue is found, a minimum $500 cleaning fee applies. This fee will be charged to the renter's original payment. Signing this contract means renter is in agreement with the charge mentioned above. RESIDUE IS EXCESSIVE MUD, FOOD, PAINT, SHOE SCUFFS that require deep cleaning fees.
  • Replacement: If damage is permanent, the Renter is liable for the full replacement cost(MSRP) of the unit.

4. DAMAGE, LOSS, AND THEFT

The Renter is responsible for the equipment from the moment of pickup/delivery until it is returned/picked up by the Lessor. The Renter agrees to pay for all repairs, loss, or theft occurring during this window, excluding normal wear and tear.

5. PICKUP, RETURN, AND SECURITY DEPOSITS

  • Pickup or Delivery Window: Renters must choose a pick up and delivery time. Pick up times must be within 15 minutes prior or after designated time set when reservation is completed to ensure, unless Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. permits after discussions with renter. Delivery times will be estimated as there may be several deliveries on the day of reservation. Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. will coordinate schedule with requested time in mind. Estimated delivery time frame will be sent via email 3-5 days prior to the event.
  • Return Options: All returned items, if pick up option was selected at the time of reserving items, are to be honored. Returns are required within 15 minutes prior to or after designated time set with reservation is completed, unless Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC permits after discussions with renter.
  • Late Returns: Failure to return items within 30 minutes of scheduled return will result in loss of security deposit. If later than 30 minutes of scheduled return will result in an automatic charge of an additional full-day rental fee to the Renter’s payment method on file.
  • Security Deposit: Deposits are returned after the Lessor inspects items for defects, damage, or excessive soilage.
  • MSRP Replacement: If an item is returned defective, broken, or damaged, the Renter is required to pay the full MSRP (Retail Price) of the item. Time stamped digital pictures, if defect or damage is present with return, will be available to customer as proof of said damage.
  • All inflatables, dunk tanks, and tents will be delivered, set up and torn down by Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. to ensure safety of all participants. Once these items are in place, they are not to be removed or moved to a new location for any reason. If removed or moved to a different location, renter forfeits all security deposits paid and will not hold Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC liable for damages or injuries.

6. CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC.

• Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled event date will receive a refund of payments made minus the security deposit.
• Cancellations made 15 - 29 days before the event will receive a 50% refund of the total rental amount. There can be a 1 time date reschedule subject to rental item availability for the date requested to avoid loss of payment. Requests must be sent to Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. via email. The rescheduled date is not reserved until Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. has sent written response to the request email.
• Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event are non-refundable. There can be a 1 time date reschedule subject to rental item availability for the date requested to prevent payment loss. Requests must be sent to Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. via email. The rescheduled date is not reserved until Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC. has sent written response to the request email.

The deposit is not refundable if there is a cancelation and reserves the equipment for the Renter’s event date.

If Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC must cancel due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, equipment failure, or catastrophic/emergent circumstances beyond our control, the Renter will receive the option of:

  1. Rescheduling to another available date, or
  2. Receiving a full refund of all payments made.

Weather predictions alone do not qualify for cancellation. Equipment may only be canceled due to weather if conditions are deemed unsafe by Salty Sweet Party Rentals, LLC.

No refunds will be issued once equipment has been delivered, set up, or the rental period has begun.
